Food: Steak in Japan is all about quality not quantity, and like all food in Japan it too is an art. We in the USA know of “Kobe” Japanese steak, but there are several areas in Japan that raise super high quality beef.

After the horrible experience of eating crap pie for lunch at the nearby Three Tomatoes Trattoria I continued my Vermont search for superior pizza at the locally acclaimed American Flatbread. Here the smell was rich in wood smoke!

Lenny’s Clam Bar & Restaurant - 8/10

Since 1974, this place consistently serves solid Italian seafood dishes. They have a full menu, but come here for the seafood. The best seafood salad, lots of scungili, calamari, and shrimp in a great dressing.

In East Harlem, New York, the real deal. This is a nice Puerto Rican spot, excellent food, good looking waitresses, a full bar and very reasonable prices. Good soups, pork, beef and chicken, classic dishes.

RUBBER PIZZA! This was the worst brick oven pizza I’ve ever eaten. The place is nice, but the wine list is limited, so I really have no idea why this place is in business. I wouldn’t serve this crap in Haiti.

This is a great place for entertaining and parties. The atmosphere is loud with current Latin sound, lots of people watching and big asses, some as wide as the bar is long. Expect to wait if you go to eat.
