FOOD: Excellent variety of home made gelatos. Crazy flavors from Red Velvet to Pop’s Maple Walnut (my favorite), and of course all the classics. Seriously this place is like the Baskin Robbins of Gelato!

Empire Pizza & Pub - 8.5/10

Food: A great NY like taste. I only had the opportunity to have a slice (sausage and anchovies) and it was excellent. Empire’s pie is like the standard NY large round pie, nothing fancy, just good solid pizza.

Food: Steak in Japan is all about quality not quantity, and like all food in Japan it too is an art. We in the USA know of “Kobe” Japanese steak, but there are several areas in Japan that raise super high quality beef.

After the horrible experience of eating crap pie for lunch at the nearby Three Tomatoes Trattoria I continued my Vermont search for superior pizza at the locally acclaimed American Flatbread. Here the smell was rich in wood smoke!

Lenny’s Clam Bar & Restaurant - 8/10

Since 1974, this place consistently serves solid Italian seafood dishes. They have a full menu, but come here for the seafood. The best seafood salad, lots of scungili, calamari, and shrimp in a great dressing.
