s everyone at Running With Scissors is busy running around the office (yes, with scissors) trying to make the Halloween Dreadline for this serving of RWS Prime Cuts, our editorial kitchen looks like the sort of place where the Firefly clan (from Rob Zombie's "House of 1,000 Corpses" and "Devil's Rejects") would feel right at home, probably snacking on a half naked teenage girl.
As a result, this month's serving includes more guts and entrails than usual. In addition we have Tim Wambolt's look at the 100 most violent movies as well as the 100 goriest entries in the realm of splatter cinema. But Tim doesn't stop there! Seized by the season, he and his daughter have produced a creep-you-out short film that shows off Mr. Wambolt's auteur abilities.
"Trick or treat!" means something good to eat and Vince Desi continues his quest to review every pizza palace in America. Vince also has his usual letter to you all and this one should send some shivers up the spines of America's politicians (assuming, of course, that any of them still have spines). And as for your humble editor/crypt keeper, I offer up a pair of obituaries for two fallen icons of the past.
Of course it wouldn't be Prime Cuts without some cheesecake for desert, so we've found a Postal Babe who comes complete with costume! Just as long as it's sexy we felt it was in keeping with the holiday "spirit".
So there's no shortage of sex and violence here, folks (we're even sponsoring a new MMA fighter who will kick your ass if you think otherwise). So dig in, because these cuts were prepared especially for you. And as always, all butchering is done on premises. Eat hearty!
Wait a minute, did somebody just order "Brains!"?
