"Gary was truly unique. He made us all laugh and gave us hope that anything is possible. Maybe now people and the press will finally give Gary the respect he always deserved. Thanks for being a part of the RWS family.
God Bless Gary" - Vince Desi

"Bye bye Gary, we never got to make out :-(" - Holly Eglington
(POSTAL Babe and star of POSTAL the movie)

"Now he will get more than a Tuesday in Paradise. Rest in Peace Gary" - Alexander Muench

"I met Gary through a radio station in Tucson, AZ called KRQ. The morning DJs at that time decided to find him a date. Gary was sent to a corner in town for people to meet him as well as patching calls through to his location. I called into the radio station to get a chance to speak with him. About an hour later, he was back at the station, and they asked him who he would like to meet. He said that he wanted to meet me! I thought it was a joke until my phone began to ring. We set up plans for dinner, and that is how our friendship began.

I have many wonderful memories with Gary from having dinner to going to a shooting range. One of my favorite memories with him was when we went to an event at TEP. While we sat in the VIP area, he felt the need to be close so he took off his shoes and played footsy with me, and then he sat on my lap. At that moment, a photographer took our picture. After the show, we hung out with his bodyguard, watched TV. and chatted. It was a very warm felt day with him, and I will never forget it.

Gary was kind, gentle, and helpful, and he was funny and enjoyed hugs. He was always there for me, and he believed in me when I didn’t. All the memories of him are endearing and pleasant, and I am honored that I had the chance to truly get to know the real man behind the name. He will be forever in my heart." - Tree Windsong

"I was saddened to learn of the passing of Gary Coleman. I actually wrote a report on the little guy in 5th grade and then I had the opportunity almost 30 years later through my friend Vince Desi to work with Gary on the motion capture set for Postal 2. Gary had an indomitable spirit and wasn't afraid to do or say whatever came to his mind. He was an avid lover of firearms and even brought his own guns to the set that day, but it was important to him that we all know they were empty. He had a sense of humor about himself that was refreshing, especially after all the shit he'd been through in his life. I used to refer to him as the "fucking menace" because he'd just show up at the studio randomly to hit on one of the girls that worked for us back then. He never seemed to mean anyone any harm. Go with God, little man." - Jarrod Phillips

"Back in 2004 I was apart of the admin team with SCI who ran the networking for CXG, at that time I had the opportunity to meet and play with Gary Coleman, while I was there I also had the chance to take a picture with him and some of the Postal babes, is it possible that those photographs have been archived within your company? I know the event was very big for RWS since it was one of not the first time we were able to play multiplayer Postal 2. It would mean a lot to me if you were able to dig up the photographs. Thank You Very Much
P.S. I killed Gary with a cat silenced M-16 and he proceeded to call me a mother fucker. he was a great guy to meet." - Patrick Marcoux

"To the family of Gary Coleman:
Life, unfortunately, isn't fair and Gary's life is a testament to that. He was born ill, robbed of his money earned from acting and has spent his life a media joke. However, there were those of us who understood and not everyone saw the man as a media circus. However, the media is never fair and the truth does not matter to them, and some of us do not always believe what the news outlets say. He did his best in life and it's great that he still had friends, including Vince Desi and the others at RWS. Those who stand up and show such support are those who are the genuinely honorable and Gary was a lucky person to have met them. I'm sending this letter through Vince to be sent to you as a way to let you know that there were still those of us who appreciated all Gary did in life and knew what he was going through. He did not deserve such treatment by the world nor an early death. I can merely hope that, wherever he is now, he has found peace." - Justin Anderson

"Dear Vince,
I know you to be a great humorist but I also know you always had fun with and never made fun of Gary Coleman. I was saddened to hear of his death and just wanted to express my sympathies to you and the crew at RWS. Gary is gone too soon and we’ll all miss his wry smile and caustic wit. Regards" - CJ Welch (Former DEA agent for RWS)

"I would like to give my condolences regarding Gary, his part in Postal 2 was awesome, and as I noticed on the site, you guys did a lot more together so I can understand it's a real loss!!!" - GEP of Chiraw

"Gary Coleman was... well, he was a man that was kicked around a lot but was still fortunate in some ways to be loved by those who knew him. The price of fame can be high and in his case it was almost an extreme price but I have to admire him for sticking to it and doing his best until the end. Gary Coleman did not deserve much of what he went through. In that short week we lost Gary, Ronnie James Dio and Dennis Hopper, all three fine men and entertainers. Death is rather cruel that way to those who didn't deserve it." - Dion O'Hara

"I heard about Gary, & blessed him. That really sucks he passed. My regards to his family, & you guys. The top-of-page tribute you made is pretty nice. I'm glad RWS got to immortalize him in a game." - Shane Corning

"I just saw the news, it was a shock. Rest In Peace, Gary." - Dave Hickman

"R.I.P Gary, you will live on in our memories, and in reruns of Diff'rent Strokes, and for a short time on Tuesday in Postal 2. We will never forget you!" - Eric Flesher

"I know you all were friends with Gary Coleman, so I thought I offer my condolences." - Scott Ruth

"WHY?!! Postal 2 will never be the same" - Nick Lane

"May the light protect him, and the powers of the heavens shine upon his path. Especially if he comes back from the dead to kick your narrow ass for selling his autographed book on Ebay." (quote from the game) - Kirk Coughlin

"Try selling the book online because as he said: "If I see anyone selling this on Ebay I will return from the dead to kick your sorry asses!" R.I.P. Gary" - Dan Patterson

"I'm going to play my copy of Postal 2 and not kill Mr. Coleman this time just to remember him :(" - Phil Littell

"Vince, I have been thinking a lot about you since Gary’s death. It is all over the news and I keep thinking I will find time to call you. My condolences" - Tamra Nestler

"He was/is fucking epic! RIP" - Nicke Mauritzon "Vince, I know you knew Gary Coleman. Please accept my condolences upon his passing. I hope this sad event isn't too hard on you." - Audrey Ricker

"I am very saddened to hear about the loss of Gary Coleman, please send my thoughts and condolences to everyone at RWS and to Gary's family. He was much more than a 1 line wonder.... but 90% of the population never knew it :(
Postal and RWS wont be the same without him!" - Graeme Fazakerley

"Your Gary memorial is nice, he really does deserve something nice with all the crap he's been through. It's really sad and he will be missed. I still cant quite find the right words to say but I'll miss him. Regards," - Thomas Mickleborough

"Fuck I just found out! Rip buddy :-(" - Colin James

"Damn!!!! I just found out too, my first reaction was to check your page... Gary always reminded me of Postal." - Edgar Almeida

"Same for me as above. Dude! That sucks... Deeply surprised! Sad day!" - Evan Gilles Gillous

"RIP Gary Coleman:( He will live forever in postal 2 online multiplayer as the fastest & baddest character in the game :)" - David Bowen

"Yeah rest in peace Gary ... It was a great pleasure meeting you in Postal 2. I think RWS will do a great honor to you in Postal 3!" - Julien Flawinne

"I wanted to touch base and say that I was sorry to hear the news yesterday of Gary Coleman's passing. I know that you had worked closely together with him the past in your Postal game, and at conventions. I know it is always difficult to learn of someone's passing, especially one that may be a friend, or someone that you had worked with. So just wanted to send my regards in a short note. Sorry to hear that he had suffered a lot. I am sure life was very difficult for him since early on. Sounds like you are very busy now fielding calls and people sending their regards. Best regards," - Jean Marie Reed

"We will always miss you Gary! :( Sorry for your loss Mikey..." - ReaperX

"Ok. I killed Gary so many times in the game, but actually I'm sad that he is REALLY gone... I gonna kill him again in the game anyway." - Shun Sakurai

"In honor of our fallen friend Gary, I'm going to pull a Postal 2 all nighter!!" - Robert Hofland

"I'm sad to hear about Gary. That's way too young to go." - blade22943

“Look. It's him.”
The crowds were very thick at E3 that year. There were times when my friend & I got separated for a second. The wild electric lights & music everywhere made my job difficult that day. But he & I were both pretty small so it was easy for us to thread the crowds together. Then a dancing game caught his eye. Wii hadn't come out yet & this was the latest tech in dance-pad gaming so he got up there and boogied. And at every game booth where he stopped, a crowd soon developed.
Even as I was watching him dance & scanning the crowds for his safety, I was aware of the two gentlemen talking behind me. One of them had seen him first & pointed him out to a friend. “Look. It's him. It's that guy who was on TV years ago. You know, the little guy. It's Gary Coleman.” I turned a little & fixed the gentleman right in the eye. Then I quietly corrected him.
“Actually sir, he's one of the biggest men in the world.”

Gary's time with the people at Running With Scissors was one of his favourite times in his whole life. And one of the few jobs that he was truly proud of. Thanks to everyone for prays & good thoughts right now.

Great quote GrayMatterGhost! I love that "biggest man" line!

One more tid-bit. Gary never watched that TV show. He never watched any of the movies or TV shows he had ever acted in. Except for Postal2. It was the only piece of his own work which he actually liked to watch over & over again. There were many times when he would come running into my office telling me "I just chopped off my own head with a shovel! Yeah!!!" He was so proud of this game, of working with the RWS family. This may sound weird but anyone who knew Gare will understand this hope. Hopefully in time, Gary will be best remembered for Postal2, for giving the whole world the chance to be Gary Coleman while simultaneously killing Gary Coleman. Doesn't get much more existential than that, eh? Thanks again for all the prayers & good thoughts.

It was a very strange feeling I felt the day he died. It was like a thunderbolt, I could not expect that. Some piece of Postal has gone for ever, I cannot imagine this game without Gary, without his voice... I do respect him for putting his own life into perspective. That is the thing he could teach every man and every woman. Thank you for everything, Gary. We all will miss you. Kuba Kmiecik.
