The Capital Grille Review Scottsdale

The Capital Grille - 8/10
Scottsdale, AZ - Restaurant Review by Vince Desi
I’ve been a meat dog my whole life, from hot dogs to Chateaubriand. Now that I’m more heart conscious, however, I love finding healthy foods that still get me excited. I had the pleasure of having just that kind of lunch recently.
Filet Mignon Salad, following a Postal Babe photo shoot in Phoenix. This place knows what they’re doing. The portion was generous, perfectly cooked, medium rare of course, sliced generously thick over fresh romaine lettuce. Hold the dressing and enjoy this prime aged beauty. Amazing!
The Sous Chef, Travis J. Garner, was kind enough to visit our table (I had never been here and had never even met this guy). He was genuinely interested in making sure that I was pleased. He told me they butcher their meat on the premises; no fat, hand cut to satisfy.
I’ve always believed food is best when fresh and simple, hold the drama. And that’s exactly what Capital Grille offers. Don’t miss this gem next time you’re in Phoenix.
Salad for Carnivores!
From my mouth to yours,
Always hungry for a good meal
