After the horrible experience of eating crap pie for lunch at the nearby Three Tomatoes Trattoria I continued my Vermont search for superior pizza at the locally acclaimed American Flatbread. Here the smell was rich in wood smoke!

The pizza is a lot like Rosa's except the restaurant food here is better than most Italian restaurants in New York City. Carmine's offers an excellent sampling of all the classic NY style pizzas.

RUBBER PIZZA! This was the worst brick oven pizza I’ve ever eaten. The place is nice, but the wine list is limited, so I really have no idea why this place is in business. I wouldn’t serve this crap in Haiti.

FOOD: Personal Pie Neapolitano. The dough is great, in every bite you can taste the smooth rich flavor of Roman history. They use OO flour, buffalo mozzarella or their own fresh made mozzarella.

FOOD: The Sicilian pie at Rosa's has the 'muzz' aka mozzarella on the dough, then the sauce on top and Parmesan sprinkled on the very top. Their round pie is classic NY pizza, it also comes in a wide variety from Mexican to Hawaiian.
