Casa Vasca - Restaurant Review - New Jersey

Casa Vasca - 7/10
Newark, NJ - Restaurant Review by Vince Desi
THE FOOD: -Taste: Octupus in olive oil, garlic and paprika, shrimp, sausage, grilled pork chops-moist and tender, and a flan you wont forget.
-Presentation: Formal in the bar as well as the restaurant.
-Ingredients: Fish can only be good when it’s fresh, and this place is a very busy spot so the kitchen is always moving product, nothing sits here long.
-Portion: satisfying unless you’re a pig.
THE PLACE: -Environment: Classic atmosphere, very warm and inviting, everyone knows everyone. You can dine in the bar or the formal restaurant, both are very clean and attentive.
-Price: Very reasonable, you would expect to pay more, if this was in Manhattan you would pay double.
COMMENTS: A great Spanish Restaurant, classic in food, style and hospitality. Try everything, but definitely have the Pulpo, the octopus.
