Education Ministry Boosts Russian Game Designers
A Video Featuring POSTAL 3 Development
"Computer games are often seen by many as distracting children from learning, but Russia’s Communications Ministry does not agree and wants to boost development and create a series of games with an educational slant."
“Tetris has some kind of creative style or creative spirit. You take the piece and you have the illusion that you build something,” says Tetris inventor Aleksey Pajitnov.
Even though it was made in Russia, Tetris did not spawn as big a games market as it did in other countries.
